Everybody loves to watch Scrat, the busy little saber-toothed squirrel, chase his acorns all over the icy land. In Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Scrat and his friends, Manny the woolly mammoth,  Sid the sloth, and Diego the saber-toothed tiger, go on a new adventure.
In the movie, the Ice Age is coming to an end. The ice is melting, and the animals are loving their warm new world. But there is danger ahead!
Manny, Sid, and Diego soon see that the melting ice is becoming a huge flood. So the three heroes go on a mission to find a safe place to live. They need to save themselves and all their friends.
Just as in Ice Age, there is an exciting adventure in the Bible about people being saved. The Bible is God's book, and in it God tells us that we are all in trouble. When we lie or are selfish or mean to each other—that makes God unhappy. Those things are called sins,
and they keep us apart from God.
God says we should be punished for our sins, but He loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to be punished in our place. Jesus did that when He died  on a cross and then came back to life.
The Bible says that:
God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. John 3:16
We are in danger, kind of like Scrat and his friends. Only our danger is not from water. It's from our sins. When we trust in Jesus, it's like finding a place where we'll be safe
forever - saved.
We may still do wrong things sometimes, but Jesus promises to always love us. He can get us through anything.
You can be saved right now. Praying is talking to God. Tell God something like this:
Dear God, I'm sorry for the sins I do that keep me from You. I believe Jesus died and rose again to save me from my sins. Please forgive me. Thank You for sending Jesus to save me and to be my friend forever. Amen.
